OUR GROUP

The KUHL brand is built on the expertise of five specialized companies within the KUHL Group: RUF Cooperation Co., Ltd., KUHL Japan Co., Ltd., KUHL Japan West Co., Ltd., KUHL GRANZ Co., Ltd. and Hananoi Manufacture Co., Ltd. Across the group, each department strategically manages and plans its daily operations and integrating innovative systems.

KUHL Holdings operates 12 stores across Japan, with plans for nationwide expansion. We’re innovating with KUHL-ONE, an online platform for custom car orders, and Japan’s first unmanned showroom. We launched VRARVA, a futuristic brand inspired by next-generation mobility, and offer customization services for electric vehicles. Additionally, we are actively expanding our business overseas, continually creating exciting new ventures to lead the automotive customization industry into the future.

KUHL Tokyo Open Custom car sales and custom parts specialty store KUHL opens in Tokyo for the first time

The Fairlady Z SPEC-D WIDE BODY wins the Grand Prize in the Dress-up Sports category at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

35R-2024EDITION WIDE BODY won the overall grand prize at the Osaka Auto Messe 2024 Custom Car Contest

PRIUS 60R-GTW WIDE BODY wins the Grand Prize in the Dress-up Sedan category at the Tokyo Auto Salon

KUHL PREMIUM Nagoya store is completely renovated and Braava specialty store VRARVA Nagoya reopens

The VRARVA MARS No. 1 won the top prize in the SUV category at the Tokyo Auto Salon.It also won the Custom Car Grand Prix, which was the top prize in all categories .

KUHL Fukuoka store opens

Hananoi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is incorporated into the group through M&A. Established our own photography studio. Launched KUHL ONE (EC site).

KUHL Osaka store opens

Established K Cool Holdings Co., Ltd. Established the 906 division. KUHL Tochigi store opened.

ROHAN METAL IMPALA won the Grand Prize in the Import Car category at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2019. It also won the Custom Car Grand Prix, which topped all categories.

2018

KKUHL Saitama store opens

GHOST ALPHARD 30A-GT won the Grand Prize in the Minivan/Wagon category at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2018

2017

Established KUHL DESIGN STUDIO and started in-house production of KUHL parts. Established a local subsidiary in Dubai and opened a showroom.

KUHL & ROHAN METAL VELLFIRE won the Grand Prize in the Minivan/Wagon category at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2017

2016

Founded KITZ Co., Ltd. and established a business division specializing in custom tuning. Accelerated participation in overseas events such as the UAE Abu Dhabi Custom Show Emirates, Beijing All-in Tuning, Las Vegas SEMA Show, and Hong Kong Custom Show.

KUHL JAPAN Project R35 GT-R won the overall grand prize at the Osaka Auto Messe 2016 Custom Car Contest

2015

KUHL Japan Co., Ltd. was established, and overseas sales began. KUHL JAPAN WEST Co., Ltd. was established. KUHL PREMIUM Nagoya store was opened, and the company entered the minivan market.

The KUHL JAPAN Project R35 GT-R won the Grand Prize in the Concept Car category at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2015. In addition, it won the Custom Car Grand Prix, which was awarded at the top of all categories.
